All you need to know about Honda Roadside Assistance

If you're driving a Honda that's involved in a road accident or has a flat tire, for example, know that you are never alone. Honda Roadside Assistance is available to assist you.

Roadside Assistance is available on all Honda vehicles still under warranty. You can contact Roadside Assistance at 1-800-465-7587.

When you call, have the VIN number ready as well as the following information.

  • The type of vehicle
  • The plate number
  • The mileage of your vehicle
  • Where you are located (name of the street, but also of the cross street)

Please note that if you are within 50 kilometers of Honda, you can be towed directly to the dealership without any problem and we will help you get back on the road quickly.

If it's more than 50 kilometers away, you can contact us and we can see if we can cover the extra costs to be towed here.

Here are the key points to remember about roadside assistance for Honda vehicles.

  • Always call the roadside assistance first and not a tow truck
  • Contact Roadside Assistance at 1-800-465-7587
  • If you are involved in an accident, take a deep breath first
  • Check your environment before exiting the vehicle
  • Call 911 if there are any injuries
  • Try to clear the road as quickly as possible by moving the vehicle to the side of the road if safe
  • Take down the information from the other driver including a photo of his or her driver's license and insurance documents while waiting for the roadside assistance service
  • Notify your insurance company

Some other things to remember

  • You have the right to choose a Honda dealer to repair your vehicle
  • Honda dealers are the only ones who can repair your vehicle with genuine parts
  • Certified Honda dealers receive continuous training to guarantee quality repairs
  • These parts preserve the resale value and reliability of your Honda vehicles.
